SIM1 ASICs for sale

We have a large quantity of SIM1 ASICs, which are now available for sale. Device manufacturers that have based their design on this ASIC can contact us for enquiries.

The later SIM1-2 replacement is also in-stock. The SIM1 ASIC is a Medium Attachment Unit (MAU) for PROFIBUS PA. It converts Manchester coding to MBP(-IS) signalling and supplies power for the electronics of the instrument. This ASIC can be used alongside a DPC31, SPC42 or other Manchester encoder/decoder.

Tap Connector DB9-M12

For ProfiTrace we now offer a new useful utility; The Tap Connector DB9-M12.

It is an extension to connect ProfiTrace to a DP network equipped with M12 connectors. It has a 180 degrees DB9 connector and B-coded male and female M12 connectors to enable universal use. This utility can also be used as a general gender changer from DB9 to M12.

Certified PROFINET Engineer training

We are organizing new sessions of the 'Certified PROFINET Engineer' training course.

This first-class training is an intensive theoretical and practical 3-day course that is acknowledged by an official exam. It is open for participants from all countries.

Repeaters fully on stock

The B1; PROCENTEC's compact PROFIBUS repeater is now fully on stock and can be delivered directly.

The advanced 12 Mbps core of the repeater is identical as the ProfiHub; It has increased signal strength and glitches are digitally filtered out. The redundant power supply makes it suitable for applications where high availability is required.

PROFIBUS DP Spur Line Repeater

ProfiHub A5 is an IP 65 network component for PROFIBUS DP installations to implement long spur lines and backbone structures with star/tree segments.

It has the functionality of 5 isolated repeaters. This allows network structures with extended spur lines that individually can handle a maximum of 31 devices and a length equal to the main bus. The spur lines have short circuit protection and the maximum baudrate is 12 Mbps.

The launch of PROFIBUS dates back more than 20 years ago. Constant evolution of the open standard allowed PROFIBUS to develop into the position of the world's leading fieldbus, maintaining compatibility all the time, which protects investment in this bus technology. This concept qualifies PROFIBUS as the one and only fieldbus for 'Total Plant Automation'. PROFIBUS has substantial cost saving potential, facilitates engineering and maintenance as well as it provides the diagnostic and maintenance information for the Asset Management System that is vital for plant optimisation today. PROFIBUS is standardised under IEC 61158. More than 28.000.000 instruments show the impact and reliability of PROFIBUS.
