Easy PROFIBUS Modules

We offer easy to use modules to quickly transform a device to a PROFIBUS DP slave.

They are extremely small because of the new VPC3+S ASIC. One type can be mounted on the PCB in a DIL28 footprint and the other directly in the housing.

Happy faces in Germany

Another group of German PROFIBUS engineers passed the DP and the PA exam.

In one week they were trained by PROCENTEC in the disciplines required for PROFIBUS, like: engineering, trouble-shooting and validation. Dennis van Booma handed out the certificates.

ProfiHubs in Vietnam

The 'Phu My Flat Steel' plant (Vietnam) has been equipped with ProfiHub A5s.

The ProfiHubs carry 3 to 4 segments that isolate devices from the main bus to drop possible interference. The network consists of motor starters and remote I/O from Siemens and ABB.

Dennis van Booma conducted in May a successful PROFIBUS training session in China.

Engineers from a variety of industries attended the training to learn the true essence of PROFIBUS troubleshooting. ProfiTrace was used during all practical sessions.

First training at PROCENTEC Singapore

First Certified PROFIBUS Engineer training at the PROCENTEC office in Singapore

The new PROCENTEC office in Singapore organized its first Certified PROFIBUS Engineer training.

A group of 7 participants passed the certified DP and PA engineer exam. Starting January 2010, PROCENTEC Singapore is offering these high tech courses in the entire South East Asia region.

ProfiTrace with OPC server

We have released ProfiTrace V2.5 which contains new improvements, like a rotating message buffer and a powerful OPC™ server.

OPC offers a standardized interface to get the valuable ProfiTrace information (device status, statistics and process variables) into other applications.

Italian PROFINET Training Center

Dennis van Booma has audited CSMT Italy as PROFINET Training Center

CSMT, the Italian Competence Center has been audited by Dennis van Booma as PROFINET Training Center.

After inspecting the facilities, training material and quality system, Dennis van Booma came to the conclusion that CSMT complies with the requirements to provide PROFINET certified training courses in Italy.

ProfiHubs in Saudi-Arabia

The Ibn Rushd' petro-chemical plant in Saudi-Arabia has been equipped with ProfiHub B5s.

The ProfiHubs are divided over 6 DP networks and enable the removal/addition of drives and motor starters. They are also deployed to wipe out already existing problems before the Profihubs were installed.
